Kate is a paediatric emergency nurse and nurse navigator for the trauma service at the Queensland Children’s Hospital.

Whilst keeping one foot in emergency, she has also worked across education, project and rapid response system roles. Kate has a particular interest in system-focused clinical redesign, quality improvement and the importance of consumer input in healthcare evolution.

When she is not working she can usually be found hunting down a new restaurant to sample or undertaking an international trek from her ever expanding travel wish list.
